Meet Your Instructor
Hello!
First I would like to say that I am thrilled to teach you about photography this semester. Taking pictures, no matter which device you use, can be both difficult at times and exciting. My goal for you, my student, is not only to teach you how to take quality pictures, but also to understand and appreciate the mystery behind that "itch" to capture a great photo! To make you feel a little more acquainted with your teacher, I'd like to tell you about my background in photography so that you know you are in good hands. Keep scrolling!

Professional Background
I got my very first Nikon DSLR camera in 2010. I began by training myself to photograph everything, all the time, every day, in every possible way in order to learn what makes a "good" picture.
Above: Photographed and edited by Miss Qureshi. She and her daughter are depicted here 7 times. Can you find them all?
Since 2011, I have been a professional photographer. I specialize in many different types of photography ranging from family photo shoots and weddings to landscape and Fine Art photography. I am regularly hired by clients to capture special moments in their lives. Plus, I often recruit models who volunteer to participate in my themed photo shoots with the intention of exhibiting those photographs in an Art gallery.
